(The Magic behind the locked 4th Trait)

Master Crystals were released via the Heaven Wheel on the 14th March 2014, thus giving access to an update within Sanctuary, the Sanctuary Dragon Lvl 11 locked 4th trait slot.

First you need an Elder Dragon Scroll similar in design to the Ancestral Seal, this enables Level 11 Sanctuary Dragons and unlocks the 4th trait. But the trait still remains blank, this is due to it needing a Crystal be it a Standard, Greater or Master.

The Master Crystal works like its predecessors the Crystal and Greater Crystal. Following the same guidelines as these, the Master Crystal is associated to a particular tab within the Sanctuary Codex.
These are Attack, Defence, Speed, Life and Empire.

Unlikely its predecessors you choose from a specific list of traits were previously the trait was generated randomly depending on the hierarchy of the crystal and its access to trait rarity.

Note: If your dragon is not failed down to Lvl 1 traits when you upgrade your 4th Slot it will stop progression at Lvl 7. If you have failed your dragon down to Lvl 1 traits and then add the 4th Trait you will be able to upgrade all four traits to Lvl 10.
